Hello to my fellow authors and readers. I am identified on WordPress as Lunasunshine, but I recognize myself better as Lulu. Lunasunshine is thought of the sun and the moon, representing a duality that exists when one has bipolar disorder. Lulu is a Final Fantasy X character. She is a powerful mage with an attitude problem. All are parts of me.
As for the rest of it, you can find the long form in About Lulu, and About My Bipolar II. But in the short form, I’m Lulu, a woman trapped alone with bipolar disorder II. My original aim for my presence at WordPress was to share my experiences in order to reach out to others in a similar predicament.
But it turned into so much more. I’d like to continue collecting voices to promote community among us and public awareness. This is a collaboration for advocacy through our experiences.
That is my aim. I will keep my own blog As the Pendulum Swings open and regularly updated. Here, I will present general topics related to mental health that we could discuss together.
I look forward to reading and writing!
Lulu

I’m glad you guys have started this! I’m already subscribed. I am curious as to how your individual posts here will differ from the ones on your personal blog?
Yes, my contribution will be different that my personal blog. My contribution will try to focus on commonality that we share. Often, I see posts about frustrations over our limitations. I want to try to focus on supporting a public forum by providing provocative pieces.
I hope everyone likes it! I’m working on something as we speak. Expect it by the end of the weekend.
Hey Lulu, I love this. 🙂 Nice post!
Thanks! I try to put everything I have into everything I write.
I’m glad we’re finally in a situation where we can have some interaction without and intermediary, Lulu – er, well, until my computer is back I do have to have Ruby post things for me, but you know what I mean, I hope. Ruby has told me about you and I have read your blog, and I’m very excited to get to know you better. 🙂
