Sometimes I go by the pseudonym Angel Flatley, but around these here parts I’m usually called Angel Fractured or, if you prefer, just Angel.
Basic Facts: Twenty-five years old. Writing tutor at a community college. Film aficionado. In love with literature. Avid reader. Aspiring writer. Interested in deep conversation. Extreme introvert.
I have been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. I also cope with depression-related problems, but there has been no clear consensus on my diagnosis there. Recently, though, I have been tentatively diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. Other possibilities I’ve heard bandied about include dysthymia, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, histrionic personality disorder (an especially unlikely one), and personality disorder not otherwise specified.
I hope to give an in-depth glance at the complexities of mental health and provide glimpses into what those with mental health issues experience in their everyday lives.
